Rachel is Co-Chair of the Recording Academy Los Angeles Chapter's Advocacy Committee.

Ben Parrish, Treasurer

Ben Parrish has participated in the weird and wild world of music by working at record labels (Sahel Sounds, Kill Rock Stars, and Joyful Noise), running a tape label (Dog Daze Tapes), making fliers and shirt designs, putting on DIY shows, writing, playing in noise bands, and most importantly, buying records and going to shows, for 25+ years.

Ben now owns and operates the boutique management and publicity company Jamboree Mgmt (yes, it’s named after the Beat Happening album.) One time, he accidentally called The Beatles “The Simpsons.”
