Scholarships for Working Musicians
Scholarships for Working Musicians
In order to ensure musicians are not left out of the music/technology debate that affects their livelihood, we offer artist scholarships for all our events. This way, many of the audience participants are those who have the biggest stake in the policy debate: musicians themselves.
Thanks to our 2014 scholarships fund sponsor CD Baby, a limited number of musicians will be able to attend FMC’s 2014 Policy Summit on a subsidized scholarship.
Note that the scholarship waives the majority of registration fees, allowing full registration for awardees on a sliding scale basis. FMC cannot cover travel or lodging expenses.
Exclusive this year:
As a special perk for musician scholarship awardees, Berklee Online is sponsoring full tuition for one artist for one of its 12-week for-credit online courses*, worth $1449. Learn the most forward-thinking strategies for success in the new music business with Berklee College of Music’s online school. Berklee Online offers online degree programs, certificate programs, and individual courses in all areas of music business, music production, performance, songwriting, orchestration, and more, taught by renowned Berklee faculty and music industry experts.
