Summit 05 Webcasts
Thanks to TV Worldwide, webcasts of
the majority of the panels/speeches in Lisner Auditorium from
Monday, September 12 and Tuesday, September 13, as
well as special interviews with Microsoft's Andy Moss and Jon
Kertzer are now available at http://www.tvworldwide.com/events/iwa/050911/ as
streaming Windows Media files.
Summit 05 Podcasts
During the Summit, FMC intern Chris Rupp diligently captured
the audio of every panel and speech in Lisner Auditorium. Now,
post-Summit, you can download and listen to any of the program
at your leisure. Note that this is a "live room" recording, meaning
you'll hear the same whispers, coughs and different vocal levels
as we did. Enjoy!
How to download or listen to audio files
If you want to hear any panel or speech as a streaming/Quicktime
file, go to the schedule and click on the "audio" icon for that
panel.
If you want to download any or all files as a podcast, paste
this URL into your iPodder subscription manager (or whatever
podcast download software you use): http://www.futureofmusic.org/audio/summit05/summitcast05.xml
A menu of all the panels and speeches will appear in your podcast
download directory under the title "Future of Music Coalition
– Fifth Annual Policy Summit". Then you can pick and choose what
to download. If
you're an iTunes user, the podcasts will appear in your iTunes
library after downloading.
Questions? Comments? Edits? Feel free to email chris@futureofmusic.org
and we'll try to work it out.
