We’ve teamed up with web.illish.us to produce a premium live webcast of the eighth Future of Music Policy Summit at Georgetown University in Washington, DC from Oct. 4-6, 2009. The live webcast will cover portions of the Summit taking place on Monday, Oct. 5 and Tuesday, Oct. 6. Events on Sunday, Oct. 4 will not be webcast (sorry).
FMC’s Policy Summit is one of 2009’s most important music industry conferences—bringing together an unprecedented group of panelists and keynote speakers with an engaged, diverse audience for a robust debate about the critical issues at the intersection of music, law, technology and policy. Head here for the full list of confirmed participants.
Those who can’t attend the Summit in person can still engage via a high-quality, interactive webcast of the entire event. This “all-access” video stream will also feature a chatroom where viewers can interact and also offer questions for panelists and speakers. FMC moderators will be on hand to deliver select questions to Summit participants, which means your voice on the issues can be heard in DC and across the World Wide Web.
As always, video and audio archives will be made available after the event — sign up for the Future of Music Newsletter for breaking news on post-summit materials.
